You can get 60lb per square inch mounting tape.....

I made the mistake of using too much of it moutning a fir slab to my mini-fridge to put my PC on.... And ended up nearly killing myself removing it lol

oh damn lol i dont want to have too much trouble removing it. earlier i did a quick search and saw something like 2lb tape or whatever, and thought that wasnt good enough. but id like to be able to remove the wood when i need to move out so it doesnt damage the dresser.

...double stick or double sided tape is strong enough. Just make sure you get 3M double stick/side tape.

ok thanks ill check it out

edit: i cant find any super strong tape? when reading scotch extreme mounting tape, it says can hold maximum of 10 lbs?

"Holds up to 10 lbs. One inch holds 0.5 pounds, two Inch hold one pound. Ten pound maximum "

That's fine bro.
You're not holding something...UP, you're holding something from sliding around.

3M, because it takes...years, to dry out.

If you have the room, go to a lumber yard. Get a sheet of 3/4 inches plywood put it on the dresser, measure and cut plywood legs for the cantilevers on both ends, ateach legs to plywood. There you go, 3/4 will work just fine.... you can even get fancy and stain or paint. And build this for under 10$ if your smart

ok true, yea i had no clue what the 3m meant. i thought it was the thickness of the tape or something?

i got the ku6300 50 inch on black friday for $400. but its not true hdr. its has hdr 8. but no wide color gamut. the ks8000 has hdr 10, wide color gamut. and i think the ks8000 has more nit or brighter display i think.

overall the ks8000 is a better tv than the ku6300. but i see the ks8000 65 inch on sale for around $1350 all the time. around 1 year ago there was some sale for it around $1000 with employee discount at samsung website. im wondering if that sale might come back soon.

3M or Scotch, same diff. It's the company. Their duct tape is the stickiest as well.

Yeah you shouldn't need cantilever supports. But if you decide to get them anyhow...

Get something like these...

Just attach them to the plywood/pine....only, and so they fit tight up against the sides of the dresser. (Don not attach to the dresser, though.)
