since csgo isn't on there, and even then the 8350 is decent enough, a 144hz monitor would be good here

xl2411z is my suggestion

acer 144z is reviewed as one of the best monitors you can get and amazon always has deals on them

the gn246hl (t9x's second link) is also nice, might have a slightly more blue hue to it than your other options but you can fix that with blue light reduction or a better-than-default icc profile

goes for 180$ on newegg right now, could probably get it cheaper from amazon with price matching on top of employee discount

please explain to me again how royalty free means that the hardware aspect of the technology does not have a cost?
freesync monitors general cost more regardless. so its either A. marketing, B. hardware costs, C. both.

yeha that one looks nice

i read a few reviews on it and some people were saying it was false advertising on Acer's part because it says 144hz but in the manual it says not recommended to run at 144 and some people were having issues with long term gaming sessions. monitors turning off on them ect ect.

made me a bit skeptical about it.

long term 144hz is bad to any monitor especially if you lack a good cable, most HDMI cables wont run 144hz

cant comment on it because i used my acer for my secondary monitor, never had any issues with it though
