okay so can someone tell me just a brief description of reasoning for amount of GB on a card and base clock speed. obv higher = faster card.

just trying to fully understand these

Faster card meaning better FPS? Not necessarily. There are a lot of variables that determine how well a video card performs -- drivers, game optimization, and many other things contribute to performance. The other parts of a build can affect the bottom line (FPS) as well.

The RX 480 and GTX 1060 perform pretty much the same, with the GTX 1060 doing a bit better in some DX11 games and the RX 480 murdering in DX12. If you don't plan to upgrade for a while, then I am of the opinion that the RX 480 is the superior card. Also, the 8GB 480 is usually cheaper than the 6GB 1060 variant.

thannks man you have made this clear to understand. and that RX 480 will fit my build? (listed on page 1 )

silly question but it should be fine with my MOBO right? seeing how its meant for my amd fx processor. :P
