Well, first off, your motherboard is gonna catch on fire.
Secondly, you don't HAVE an Nvidia card.


Why do you think you need an Nvidia driver?



/e Never tested, but maybe Speccy doesn't show the vid card, w/o the driver.

How about a screen shot of Device Manager with the Display Adapter portion open.

i literally just got this computer.
idk about the mother board issue, but it has a 1060 in it. but i uninstalled it because it wouldn't update. and tried to reinstall it

Make sure the monitor is plugged into the GPU, not the mobo.

Yeah, it's an ASUS prebuilt tower with an IntelĀ® H110 chipset, which has a max. temp of 60C.

Not saying the temp is causing the vid card driver problem, but rather, it would be another problem.


/ee @OP did you buy this computer at BestBuy? If not BestBuy...where did you purchase it?

Best advice...is take it back to bestbuy....asap!

/e It should have at least a 1 year warranty.


They will fix the driver issue, and more importantly, the overheating chipset issue. Assuming it's not just a faulty sensor.
If that chipset sensor is working correctly....that motherboard isn't gonna last more than a couple weeks.

bring it back to the store as opening it will viods warranty.
