There is almost no content supporting HDR. But damn it looks amazing. If you gonna keep the TV for multiple years it's almost a must.

The 3 tvs I mentioned all supports HDR.

i like that LG one you just posted.

Looking for the VESA mounting size tho.

hmm now stuck between 55 inch or 60 haha.

is the difference really that big?

the wall i am mounting it on is 55 inches wide.

If i got a 60 inch they are around 54 inches wide so I will have a half inch on either side.

i know 20% more screen with a 60 vs 55, but trying to figure out if the tv will look good with only a half inch of wall on either side

anyone know if the tv will look good with a 1/2 inch of wall on either side of the tv?

house has like an extruded wall that comes out. on the bottom is a fireplace and a mantle.

Above the mantle is where the tv will go, but the width of the wall is 55 inches. with a 60 in tv, i will have around 1/2 inch of wall showing on each side.

Or should I go with a 55 inch tv and have like a few inches on each side?

trying to figure out what looks best :)

I think a few inches on each side would look good. Going with an Sony 850D

This I don't think it would matter either way though

My wife just bought me a TCL 55" TV with 4k and a bunch of wifi shit and built in things. It looks amazing and has 120hz..

I don't know much about TV's but she got it for $360.00 which I feel was a very good deal. I don't know anything about the brand, either, but it has very good reviews all around.

It's 60Hz native, 120hz clear moyion
While the 850D is 120hz native and 960hz motion flow.

But I'm sure it's a decent budget TV. Not something I would buy myself.

TBH I can't tell between SD and HD or any of these 4K TV's from 1080. It may just be my eyes are terrible, but the only difference I see is some are brighter with a little better colors.

I wouldn't spend more than 600-700 max on a TV because they are always coming out with something new and better ever year. My 32 inch TV I have had for a while was like 500 bucks lol

I just rather stay away from expensive TV's when in a few years the same shit will be such a lower price. Probably put my money into a nice projector and have the TV in the living room.
