Melee ranged

If you throw your melee weapon. Is it ranged then?

Anything THROWN is considered melee.

Not anything.

I'm just attaching the word "ranged" instead of AOE. To each his own. When I say melee ranged, I guess I really mean melee AOE. Just how I view how the skill interacts and my word usage
