Ive currently got a 2500k and msi p67 mobo
Radeon 7950
Corsair hx 850w gold modular psu
2 x 4 gb ddr 3 1600 ram ( corsair vengeance )
2 x 250 gb samsung evo 850s
Optical drive



My plan is to re use the power supply and the hard drives

Get new case and gpu and cpu/mobo and ram

You could get by with just new gpu

2500k just isnt cutting it to be honest . Im not good enough with overclocking to push it to where it would need to go in order to stop being a bottleneck

Bottle necking what?

I cant stream or play games without the computer choking up. Especially streaming league of legends and playing games like rome total war

What are you using?

Software wise
Games you named are cpu intensive you should be using gpu encoder

Ive used obs and xsplit , both had the same fps lag inside league.... when Im not streaming game is smoother than butter.


Ive run speedtest hundreds of times , even while streaming and download stays at a consistant 100 plus mbps and 15 mbps upload.

No choke or spikes


Leads me to believe the only other possible culprit is cpu

I am running 3.5 on stock intel cooler , id be willing to snag an h60i or something , but without fucking with settings and just changing the multiplier I can probably only safely push to around 4.0

Which encoder? On obs?

Should be able to hit 4.2 on that cpu with 1.2 to 1.25v with hyper212 also

I used this document I believe , its been a few months since last I tried.

Recently I got overwolf and now league of legends even has in game spikes of frame rate lag , and cs go is unplayable due to it unless I close the applixation
