I'm enjoying my 120hz 4k but it's 40" which is perfect
I only paid $300 for it too

With 25+ ms response time and it's not true 120hz like on PC monitors. Enjoy tho

how awful is the response time going to be to support something like this

Wat
If a game doesn't support
144fps
Or 4K
Literally it's a console port
And don't need 144hz
Anyway

I don't believe response time will be to bad.
And the problem with blacklight bleed would be fixed. Was a huge problem on the ips 165hz monitors.

Actually, from what ive read... qdot backlighting clhas a huge issue with backlight bleed around the edges.

I REALLY hope they make a 1440p model of that monitor though. Nn 4k till gpus can push 100fps plus on it easily

1920x1080 is enough.....never tried 4k but I don't see the huge deal

Playing on higher native res will only reduce your in-game frames anyway and games where 144hz really matters like csgo, high res is awful (especially anything over 1920x1080)

You never tried it, how can you speak about?
There is a significant difference in sharpness in that monitor size.
And higher refresh rate matters in majority of games.

So just because you do not have the money and/or am afraid of new technologies doesn't give you the knowledge of the subject.
