They sell cheap keys. They are cheap because they are purchased via stolen credit cards, keys that are not meant to be sold, or are breaking Microsoft's rules and ripping them off in some other way.

E: They're only legit insofar as they are real, working keys.

source?

and who cares how you get your key

also considering their data mining of you is your payment

Do you really need a source? It's a known fact about Kinguin and G2A. Kinguin is a little more reputable since they don't have as many issues regarding keys bought with stolen cards for resale. They're still gray market keys, though.

http://www.polygon.com/2015/2/9/8006693/the-truth-behind-those-mysteriously-cheap-gray-market-game-codes

They're marketplaces like 3bay. The codes are not always obtained legally, and they're not always obtained illegally. That's why they're referred to as gray market keys. You can't tell how the marketplace sellers get their keys, but it is very unlikely that someone is selling a few week old $60 title for $45 without there being something fucky going on. Kinguin is the -exact- same thing as G2A. lol

"Windows keys from key sites are going to be keys from some sort of MSDN derivative. Microsoft does not allow the resale of MSDN keys point blank..and since MSDN is a subscription servce MS has in the past retroactively deactivated keys and closed down MSDN subscriptions for resellers. Often times it's hard to know what kind of key you're going to get. You might get a retail or OEM key. You might get a volume key that has 10 or so activation before it no longer activates...so if 10 different people buy that key you can't activate it again."

...it's the same exact thing. Why would these sellers do this with gamecodes and not Windows keys? lmao

Stop being picky. It's not like any of us (or most of us, at least) give a fuck. I buy all of my keys for games from Kinguin and ESO crowns from G2A. Doesn't make a difference to me.

Although indie games I buy directly from their developers if I can. Firewatch was real good.

It's a known fact that this occurs. Just because I don't have a news article about it doesn't mean it doesn't occur. This is common knowledge.

Do you know what the MSDN is? If you have any idea what it is, then you are aware that there are many subscribers that sell keys that are labeled not for resale. It just happens. lol

Why do you even need a source? It's not like I made this shit up. lmao Do you work for Kinguin or something?

Here's an article about what MSDN, how it works, and what people can do and often have done.

been using windows since ibm compatible pcs were around
actually thought about becoming a distributor

all I am asking for is a link some evidence for your claim on windows otherwise you just talking shit and making assumptions
and if ms was fighting piracy so much then why is those keys still selling on kingui?
