You dont really need 144 fps tho. I dont notice a difference when my frames move around anywhere from 100-infinity. It's also nice not having to use vsync cause vsync sucks, introduces delay and makes your game more choppy than it should be when your frames drop below the sync'd rate.

I'd rather be at 120 fps on a 144 hz monitor and not have to use vsync, than be hovering around 144 and screen tearing it up or using vsync and getting stutters when im at 143 fps or less

The Asus vg248QE is a decent monitor

The acers dank too, thats my monitor. The stand has 0 adjustment though, theres only dvi and its super bright.

And yeah gsync is sick and solves all that, just gotta pay for it lol

Asus vg248QE bought this and a display cable just in case. I read that some inputs like VGA just don't work and I have extra display ports available
