How large you talking? You could probably do this with vb or powershell, but I don't think it would be a quick thing to do.

Computer the users have now have the icons pinned, but when I replace them using computers also using windows 7 pro 64bit I have the issue.

might just be one of the things they have to learn to deal with.

thanks for the effort guys! another thing microsoft tried to fix that didn't need fixing.

you can get this out to all users by logonscript pushed through AD

I will just deal with it case by case as needed. I am sure a lot of people will just deal with it like they should. but I know at least a few will throw a fit about it.
