Actually does fine for 1080p bluray content.
Has a little quad core in it.

Yes directplay, But pretty sure its not cut out for transcoding. IPC on it must be low?

Yeah I see, Did a bit more research. They just had problems early release transcoding plex.
Seems to be doing good now with mkv, avi and DivX

I have around 1.5TB stuff worth viewing. Honestly, I could share you the stuff but my i5 server is also running our CS:GO scrim server too so I prefer not having multiple transcodes on at the same time.
I still could set you up with a 5Mbps private download...
