wait for the nvidia 10-series laptops

@OP... the main complaint for laptops with discreet vid cards...is battery life.

I understand you want a laptop that you can slap in a pocket in your cargo pants. I'm just trying to warn you about battery life.

pretty much everyone keeps their lappy plugged in 24/7 anyway

laptop is an inch thick closed and weighs 5lbs

4 speakers, a sub (whatever that's good for..)
1080p 15.6" ips screen
ssd + hdd
gtx 1060

he didn't even state a budget but $1600 for a laptop that can actually game without struggling isn't bad at all.

e: same thing 50$ cheaper, slightly less ram but more than plenty
