I just called them...they said they only use the color classifications on the internal drives.

THEY DON'T USE COLOR CLASSIFICATIONS AT ALL....ON THEIR EXTERNAL HARD DRIVES.

Yes, cause they don't do a special drives for these I can assure you.
I've taken apart MANY external drives for data recovery when the board fails and its always a 5400rpm drive.

that is if in fact its a standard 3.5 drive in the case.

Well the review was of a drive years and years ago. Furthermore it makes sense that they use an external backup drive with a green drive. Save money and still overchange the customer.
