Ok you want a case that'll take an ATX motherboard, which is what the ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0 is.

/e And you should probably get a CPU cooler as well. :)

Check the clearance for cpu cooler on the case before you buy it, I can't fit the evo 212 I just bought in my corsair 100r.

Your case would have to be awfully thin to have no room for a CPU cooler, no? How big can those things get?

My case specs say max 150mm cooler, and the hyper 212 specs say 159mm.
I didn't try it because I wanted to keep it in the package to try and sell it, but someone on a forum said it fit, but others say it doesn't?
Who knows.

The stock AMD cooler is ok, it's better than Intel's cooler. But for an 8150 you need more.
62C is the max. core temp for an 8150 at 100% load.

Speccy shows the core temp. I'm assuming those are idle temps?

Here's my Speccy screenshot. I have a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO ...push/pull fans.

/ee Yeah, AMD core temps are weird.

It's 75F in here right now and these are my temps...right now...idle temps:

This is the OSD for AIDA64 Extreme.

Beasty. How hot does it get at 100% load?

Also any suggestions for what fans I should buy? I know most cases come with two but I want a few more

Well, there is 100% load and then there is hotter 100% load. I ran two different stress tests, Prime95 which is the hottest, and Aida64 which is less hot...although, both run the CPU at 100%.

Stressed with both tests, with no overclock...

With AMD piledriver and bulldozer CPU's the max. package temp is 72-74C, the max. CORE TEMP is only 62C.

Your AMD FX-8150 is a bulldozer CPU, and your Speccy screenshot is showing a CPU core temp of 55C...at idle?? <---- That's too hot, if those are idle temps.

The case and CPU cooler I would recommend, if I didn't have to stay near $100, but still tried to keep the price ...low: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/Kjk3dC

I'm pretty sure I had some stuff going on in the background as when my computers idle it usually hits about 32-34. The summer is hot right now (been 35 in Mississauga the last few days) so they're up higher than normal.
I think I might invest a bit more - I just got the GST tax bonus recently and earlier today I got another payout from another tax form I had unfiled from 2013 (lol) for a couple hundred bucks. Might invest a bit more...

Thanks for all your help friend... my last question is if you have any input on # of fans I should have and maybe what kind to get? Don't know if fans are really one of those things to stress out about
