Pushing Windows 10 as an automatic update is how. If people wanted to update their OS, they would. Some of the machines it's being pushed onto can't handle it, and some people are even losing all their data due to corruption because of it. Already been a lawsuit for it, there will be more to come.

but its ok for you android, and their apps to do it automatically, same with your browsers and they take more data by far along with location
but its not for a os on your pc, big fucking deal its all software
do you cry at night over change or something
samsung, lg, etc all do it with their own tweaked out versions

fuck there is more android devices out there then anything and its constantly changing but for a pc oh no I cant handle a slight change with an os that is more compatible with all software out there

Edit: when your phone updates you don't hear people say I've lost money or data, or that I can't use this 300$ piece of software I bought for 30 machines. I'm not sure why your attempting to defend Microsoft. Rather futilely might I say.

but its new for windows to try something so tricky like this

regardless it is extremely tricky. most people would just immediately click on the X and not read the wording.

its just not expected with windows. and well windows clearly has a benefit when more users switch to windows 10. nothing is really free with windows 10. sure the initial upgrade is free, but microsoft profits more when people upgrade to windows 10, than if they were to stay on windows 7 or 8
