I had a g930, the constant disconnecting led me to replacing it with a hyperx cloud 2.

which I really like but i hate the wired and this headset doesnt have sidetone.

Sidetone is not headphone dependant.

The method you provided causes terrible latency causing your voice to be more of a speech jammer than the ability to gauge your own volume.

Actual sidetone is headphone dependent.

Thanks though.

Didn't see sidetone requirement, dunno if it'll work with this one... Oops!

Been using the Corsair Vengeance H2100 for about a year and a half now.
It has a bit of white noise when on (I got used to it after such a long time, doesn't bother me, only hear it when there's no sound playing);
Range is decent (about 25 feet's before it starts cutting out)
A bit too heavy(Gets uncomfortable after 2hours sitting on your head);
Sound quality is decent (Not a lot of bass) and Mic is decent(People seem to understand me clearly)

Statisfied with the purchase, no major cons, works with Win7,8,10.

It really Isn't though.

Asio removes input/output latency & makes it real-time just like 'sidetone' is.

Generally open type headphones/headsets are better for gaming. Which you wouldn't really need sidetone for anyways.
