I do as well, but, for a first timer, it might be safer to just install the back plate while the motherboard is outside of the case.

Yeah working on installing that now

I mean installing the whole heatsink outside the case along with cpu and ram so he doesnt have to work inside the case

he just needs a diagram of which way the heatsink goes being a first timer

Here...you won't have the heatsink fan that I marked with the yellow dot, ofc. Otherwise, this is the proper orientation for the Hyper 212 Plus.

Your heatsink is backwards. Rotate it 180 and then rotate your fans to obtain proper direction.

...you have no clue. :)

/e @OP, if you want the best cooling..orient your Hyper 212 Plus like I have shown. :)

Your RAM, like mine will be installed in slots 2 and 4 counting away from the CPU. I also have an ASUS motherboard.

Also down in the lower right, you will see the ASUS Q-connector, which gathers all the case front panel; connectors into one plastic part, that then, just plugs into the motherboard.

Pay attention to the number of degrees I have stated.

All I daid was your logo was backwards and to spin it around and readjust your fans.

It was a troll post in case you haven't caught on.

The logo means nothing, the coolers are identical front to back. :/

Hence why it was a troll post. Glad you're catching on.

Anyways for presentation I enjoy being able to read the logos from the monitor facing direction so to me your cooler is backwards.

@ OP... they are both trolling...ofc, you can mount the logo either way, but none of that is important.

What is important is that when you are mounting the heatsink on the CPU, be very careful, tightening down the 4 screws.

They must be tightened only a few threads at a time in a kitty-corner method. Then repeat, until they are all tightened down.

The 6700K is a fairly delicate CPU, if you don't mount the cooler properly like I described, it can break the CPU pcb.

/e Use this as a guide....tighten the screws only a few turns on each in this order...then repeat.
