add your preference operating system, i left it out.

he isn't overclocking
why would he want to install an aftermarket cooler
nn z170 for that.
source 210 / 220s are good but might as well give him an s340 because he likely won't be the best at cable management

I assume this is a nice build and can run pretty much anything but I don't now how to put it together. :/

So with the build you provided I don't need to buy anything else aside from windows?

Does it have a sufficient fan? etc

Would upgrading to an i7 be beneficial?

thats why i listed 6500
k series don't come with coolers on skylake

if he isn't overclocking he
a; won't want to install aftermarket
b; won't use the overclocking potential anyway
c; wants to save money

i had the source 220
cable management was a pain, but doable. just not easy compared to the s340 etc with a basement

I have purchased about a dozen 210s how was it a pain? putting cables through the same holes and running to back side? tell me how that is any different with your case? lol
aftermarket coolers are easier to install then the intel stock cooler with those clips and those pop ez
predicting the future on what him not overclocking? almost everyone I know that builds their own does overclock now
90 saved to throw out sli and overclocking option
oh and resell value not sure if you ever sold your old systems or parts but I can tell ya k versions sell alot faster by far

nope everything in the boxes of those parts will be all you need, minus a screwdriver (phillips/starhead)

has enough fans

i7 not really. not for the games you play.
if you're not overclocking you don't really want an i7, unnecessary expense.

stock cooler out of the box you literally just push it on to the motherboard
i fail to see how aftermarket coolers get easier than that.
this guy doesn't normally build his own, this would be his first time
why would he want to overclock his cpu? not necessary.

i give my old shit away idc about resell.

plus I have been installing stock cpu coolers for long time before they went with this design its not always push opposite corners then others and snug,
I usually pick up the mobo by cpu cooler to make sure, and many times must reseat

you can tell the future if he is going to overclock? when did you start overclocking?

you may give your shit away does that mean him

but I am curious as when you started overclocking?

and i7 if he is huge multitasker
I can tell huge difference on my devils canyon i5 vs my haswell i7 but I multitask always

Pick up a cdkey on kinguin for 30 bucks.

You can go slightly over budget and go with a 1080 if you want a card to last a little longer.
