Do you only wanna know about computer building or are you interested in going deeper and get some knowledge of how it actual works?

Honestly, I'm interested in both aspects to be sure.

For example, I've literally spent the last like 4-5 days specifically looking up stuff on mechanical keyboards, like the whole day (but lazily for sure) for 4-5 days, and frankly I'm so unstructured in how I do it, and a bit half assed as well. Mostly just discussing things on reddit forums, reading amazon reviews and watching youtube reviews, and when random aspects of a keyboard peak my interest, I google those aspects specifically and try to learn what kind of "edge" certain tech provides and why, and how it works. I was initially just interested in what keyboard to get, but I think I've gone a bit "overboard" in terms of research compared to average because I also just want to learn about the tech itself, and I still feel like I know jack shit on the subject rofl.

I'm definitely not done with "keyboards" yet either, even if it's a totally random aspect of pc builds and not nearly as important or complex as the pc itself. However, I have walked away with a slightly better understanding of the different switch types, the available features, the debouncing delay associated with boards and how certain products attempt to mitigate or remove that completely, how your connection to the motherboard itself can be a bottleneck for that input delay as well, etc.

Anyway, it's definitely interesting as all hell, I've had more fun researching than I have gaming if that says anything, but yeah I just want to be more structured with it and actually walk away with real knowledge and not just random "advertisements" and various derpy youtubers barraging me with biased info XD

I guess the end game goal is to have a similar understanding of all this tech as LinusTechTips guy has himself, but it's obvious that probably takes a fair deal more than just random sporatic for fun googling and youtube browsing...
