I just don't know the answer to the original question about Intel core temps. He's seeing 15c diff in core temps after just a 6 minute AIDA stress test.


Intel 4790K overclocked ( I lost the PM where he said how much... 4.6 I think?)

From a diff s/s it looks like 1.28v

haswell just like ivy bridge used shit tim not solder between the die and the IHS.
delid the fucking cpu and apply good thermal paste or deal with it.

I did explain that part (concerning core temps and tim tween the cpu and the IHS).
But I think that's not in his realm of solutions....yet anyways.


Like I said, from the s/s above and the H110 AIO in the FD R5 case, I would think the core temps should be lower (overall) after a 6 min aida run.
