Never would I build an FX based system.

Zen is just around the corner, who knows what'll happen before we really see it.

Hence why I would wait long before building a new FX based system.

Zen will need a new board so upgrading would cost more money.

If he went with a LGA 1151 board at least he could upgrade CPU later to a 4 core I5 once Kaby Lake was released and the CPUs dropped in price.

With FX series they pretty much are killing them off.

I think if you just got an i5 with integrated graphics you would be able to play more graphic intensive games than with that 720.. lol

edit: just for fun I installed fraps on my i5-3570k with integrated graphics and I am getting 90fps.. granted I am sitting in my garrison and settings are at low and resolution is 1280x1024

That motherboard is trash. Don't ever buy it. Ever.
