ok so I connected my drive, but now that i plug my screen it says "no signal"... I cant see what i am doing with the windows 10 cd.... fml

take the harddrive out and put it into a computer that works and put it set to slave, install 10 to it

my pc is new I just built it, it starts fine, but my monitor says no signal... its plugged fine, my gpu is also plugged fine

Beat me too it. Wish I was on earlier for all this nonsense lol

I plugged my hdmi cable into my mobo port, same result...

edit: my gpu lights up but fan do not spin (google said it only spins when it reaches certain temps)

i will try reseat it and plug the hdmi into it

it sounds like its the hard drive lol have you tried moving the gpu or hard drive into another computer or perhaps just reinstalling it. u may want to think if you have a motherboard on board video card
also make sure all power supplys are to the gpu the fans should spin

Did the monitor turn on before you tried hooking up the cd drive?

ok i tried reseating the gpu, but i wasnt able to fully remove it because the little locking mechanism is locked, and I cannot unlock it due to my gpu being to large.. duh

same result the monitor is no signal

the monitor is working fine with the pc i am currently using

edit: all the case fans + cpu fan are spinning. only gpu is not spinning but I think it is normal for this card at low temps

ive had this problem b4.. What worked for me was switching hard drive to master, taking out battery to motherboard and hard reseting it to factory default then putting battery back in because its not detecting your gpu.. also make sure ALL the wires are plugged in some gpus have like 4 wires that need to be plugged into it make sure its all in there
