My problem is i have a fairly slow internet connection, and it'll take awhile to redownload everything and for some reason my laptops are always slow on my network for the first few days, regardless of downloads.

If the computer worked before...like when you first got it....then YES a Factory Restore will fix the problem.


Also you may want to check out this free program: https://www.pcdecrapifier.com/download ...it will remove the bloatware that comes on a new laptop, which yours will be after you do a Factory Restore.
