Don't buy a 4k yet they have a wretched refresh rate
There panels are solid, only reason I'm considering is that I've tested enough of them at my work where I would be comfortable with how sports etc look.
But at home is much different than in the place of work so I was just wondering generally what people think.
I realize I could save money getting 1080p but the same could be said for a lot of the stuff that's posted on here computer hardware very much included haha

Gradually is the understatement of the year, I have over 60 premier pay channels, and if even half of them are 1080p I'd be seriously surprised...don't buy into to the "4k content is growing gradually" hype that 4K TV folks are trying to convince you of.

/e You can run games at 4K asnd even Blurays, but the actual image quality is not even stressing 1080p yet.
Fully aware that the price is unjustified still not surprised by that, but the fact is newer movies etc are going to be supporting 4k. Probably take a year or so but Im looking to upgrade my tv and dont want to wait a year to do so.
OLED is literally 3x more expensive. Too much op
