reseat your PCI cards, remove all unnecessary ones (except GPU). are you sure your GPU has the appropriate power cables plugged in (should require at least 1x 8pin and possibly 1x 6pin)?

no pci is in but the display says


reboot and select proper boot device
or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key

put the card back in and now theres no numbers and no display

If your copy of Windows is on DVD, and it's in the optical drive, then you might have to enter the BIOS and set the optical drive to 1st boot device.


Make sure that the Optical drive is hooked up with power and SATA cable ofc.







/e Then after Windows is installed go back into BIOS and set the Hard drive or SSD to the 1st boot device.



P.S. During the Windows install, it will need to reboot a cpl times...ONLY "Press any key to boot from CD........." the FIRST time. Even though when the comp reboots the same message will appear again....DON'T hit "any key" ..just the first time only.

did that it still says the reboot part i also have boot option 1 and 2 is the #2 messing me up?
