As I've said before, none of us would be able to tell the difference between either processor if similar setups were put in front of us.

20% less on 100MPH is 80MPH

60MPH -> 48MPH

pretty big difference with driving a vehicle brah

we not putting this in our car, are we? ;]

hmmm... so im starting to think its better to get amd because the difference in speed seems almost minor for gaming and amd is quite a bit cheaper. and im not going to overclock it since i dont know how, nor do i want to deal with that trouble.

true, but didnt think the analogy was completely related. might as well say 20 percent slower than the speed of light is a huge number as well.

so what AMD chip would be closest in performance to the 3570 i5 intel CPU?

Depends what you're doing

some things the 8350 is about at 3570k speed

some things the 8350 is on par with the 3770k

it just depends, it's better at some stuff and a lot worse at other stuff

overall it's definitely good for its price

does depend on budget too
Sometimes combos make it so that the 3570k is cheaper, and vice versa
