Its pronounced "Shit" btw. And you can fully trust them. They are 100% audiophile grade, and in fact are even all made in the United States (no china junk to cut-costs here). Their products are receiving warm reviews world round.

I guess their team just has a sense of humour calling their products Schiit.

Oh?

I just figured they were Swiss or something. From their name / product names.

Chinese doesn't necessarily mean poorly made, but then again American doesn't necessarily mean a car can turn.

Well America is the leading nation in high quality audiophile products (England is high up there too...). I give credit where credit is due :P

I'm not saying Chinese workers mean bad quality, but it is clear that when an American (or Japanese, German, English...) company chooses to use china to manufacture their products as their workers get payed 1/10th its an apparent method of cutting costs, which should be unnecessary for a high quality product.

Therefore, it is amazing how Schiit makes their products in America for $99 when for example Musical Fidelity headamps for $700 are made in Taiwan...

Nowadays only the high end ($5000+++) products are made in their original country, but a few small businesses like Schiit Audio make even low end products at home.
