I was referring to the 50 or so tech news articles about Java7u 7 that said it WAS vulnerable to the "black hole exploit" a month or two ago...and said that Oracles next major update wouldn't be released until late October...which seems to be today or yesterday ^^

/e ...appaently, Oracle isn't as concerned as Java was, to release all necessary updates when the zero day attacks happened....and Oracle owns Sun Java now...so...

if you know what black hole is or what it does you wouldnt be saying this lol.

black hole is an exploit pack in which a remote attacker uploads to a compromised webhost and then compromises more hosts to plant iframes and other links back to the first compromised site in which the user will then get exploited by numerous exploit attempts. friend works for a security firm and is currently tracking black hole v2 linked with a modified zues botnet which he believes has some sort of russian funding behind it lol.

I know what a black hole exploit is lol


This was the main reason for the previous articles, that was the vector they were using...Java :/
