If you just added new paste and what not you might need to wait a bit for your thermal compound to "settle".

Depending on your ambient temperature and since it isn't overclocked (and Ivy) i'm going to say low 30's is what I would shoot for.

The CPU you have. Ivy bridge. It has a lower thermal power design so it will run cooler on stock. ^_^

Yeah. :P If you just put on your cooler I would wait a bit until your thermal compound gets some use. Then check your temps later on.

And how long does my pc need to be idle before I can get the realtemp?

It shouldn't take that long i'd say 10 minutes tops. I would keep track of the temps and see how low they go.
