Latest version of Adobe Flash that was available for OFFLINE install was:  10.3.181.34

Current version is:  10.3.183.5

Just found link for the OFFLINE installer:  http://forums.adobe.com/thread/889580?tstart=0

I'm kidding but I found the beta of 11.0.1 I think a few weeks ago and installed that on their site.

Also when I tried that I got an error installing it.

Well just installed the latest OFFLINE version of Adobe Flash and FF 6.0, all seems to be working...however, during FF 6.0 install, the installer informed me that FF 6.0 is not compatible with Java update 26 (the latest version). I've checked a number of sites that require Java and they all work.

The NewEgg lag I reported earlier....went away when I allowed the plugin.container internet access thru my firewall...so...Imma let this run for a while and see how it goes...so far so good.

before letting the "plugin.container for Firefox" which IS a part of FF to access the internet..each time i navigated to a new page on Newegg...the Browser would totally freeze for about 3-5 seconds...then show the page...so I opened my firewall and temporarily allowed the "plugin.container for Firefox" access to the internet...problem went away ??

In the past before this latest Adobe flash update...this was NOT necessary....when navigating on Newegg, pages loaded instantly and no 3-5 second browser freeze.
