MOAR FOR LESS?
nah you crazy
Technological advances make it possible. So does profiteering. Do you really think 160KB/s download speed is worth $40 a month in 2011? I mean come on, that's just pathetic. For how much they're charging, they have a huge profit margin. If people like Comcast really wanted a monopoly, then they're invest in more fiber lines, and increase the speed while keeping costs and prices the same. Imagine if Comcast offered let's say 50Mb/s for $40, while other companies offer at most 10Mb/s for that much. Who wouldn't go with Comcast? They wouldn't even have to kill Net Neutrality that way.

they will once this thing catches on.....the initial rollout is most of the cost in the fiber to premises setups like FIOS
They actually gave me more bandwidth and more TV channels and dropped the price like $20/month....the all fiber networks can handle the speed easily....it's just a matter of time
Yeah, but I'm tired of waiting. My internet speed hasn't changed at all since 2006, yet the price hasn't gone down until recently. Do you see something wrong with that? I do.
