might delete current driver info then pop in your mobo disc in and it should install drivers needed... if it doesn't have the right drivers checked then, check them and let it install should work...
if not lmk... or if you've tried that...

On the unknown device right click properties, and then go to the details tab. What is the device instance ID? That will let us know what your sound card is and allow us to find the right drivers. Is your computer a premade one from a company? If so what is its model number.

You have a SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio. Yes that is the info I needed.

What is the make and model of your computer or motherboard? I think its an HP.
