i finally played through both of them while running trifire, and with 10.7 - the first crysis runs almost as good as warhead.

it's almost weird getting no less than 60fps at all times, and on a 55" SXRD too... shit's seriously like a big window.

pretty sure i'll be pissed unless i get a physx card before i go there. gonna get a 512mb short single slot 9800gt, for cheap. before i do that tho i gotta replace some fans...

e: yes i've noticed better gpu usage with 10.7, mostly on crysis 1.

it really makes no difference if your screen is 20" or 200", 1080p is 1080p

They are there to give you an idea of how it will run, yes.


youre his multi... and this may be true (not impressive) but i have yet to see it in person (still wouldnt be impressive)

right, but there isn't much out there, or at least to my knowledge that handles motion better than Sony's SXRD panels. it's got near flawless color too. they handle motion pretty much the best for the money and being a TV set, so combine that with no noticeable input lag, and it makes for one hell of a gaming experience. i have a few decent LCD's, and even a true 120Hz LCD, and due my set's size, they all just pale in comparison.
