To answer your question: yes they will block airflow.

So should I just connect them to my mobo?

Yea I think that would be a better idea then setting up a fan controller (I have one, at first I thought it would be cool to control it, but after a while you just leave it on what you feel most comfortable).

I recommend you connect it to your motherboard, but get a 3-pin Y connector (splitter) so that you can hook up two fans onto one spot on the mobo.

This should do it then.
I forgot to which 3 pin connector you connect in the mobo.
You don't use the molex connectors with those right?

Yea thats perfect

You can connect 4 fans with one mobo thing

so like
Y connect + 2 more Y connect = 4 fans

Ok thanks, the other are stock fans so they come with controlers.

But for power it's only the 3 pin that will work? No need molex?
And you plug it in the 3 pin connector near the 24 pin right? Should be in the manuel when I get it I'm sure.

There are normally two - three 3 pin connectors on a standard ATX motherboard (usually name CHASSIS_FAN or FAN_1)

You only need to use one (better for cable management)
