Das is another good one. But i though i heard some bad press on it. Afk googling and looking at what switches the das use.
@Pheonix- If you thing the lycosa is good.. Filcos will blow you away.
PS- Lycosa blows balls
Das is decidedly ungood, but not for the swithces. It uses cherry blues, just like filco does, the problem is in the controller. When typing at high speeds, it fails to recognize what the actual keystroke order was.
http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?t=4691&highlight=high+speedIf you wanna go for a mechanical keyboard (which I am personally a fan of over the all show, no function "gaming keyboards") under 100 bucks, here are some that I am personally interested in:
There's the dsi smk-88, which uses a linear cherry black
http://www.dsi-keyboards.com/keyboard/item.php?id=51Abs M1, which uses iirc simplified fake alps, I believe this is tactile and clicky
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823224001&Tpk=abs%20m1Filco Zero, which uses tactile clicky fukka alps switches, but has a similar transposition problem as the das.
http://elitekeyboards.com/products.php?sub=filco_keyboards,majestouch_87key&pid=fkbn87zebOfc, you can also go check eeeeeeeebay for some classics:
ibm model M - uses a buckling spring, very visceral, I still whip it out occasionally over my hhkb
dell at101w - uses I believe real bigfoot alps switches? I'm no expert at alps boards...

cherry keyboard - if the models begin with G80 or G81, they use mechanical switches.
