yeah, none work for it. i have spent quite a load of time trying to get this damn thing to work. i thought maybe someone would have better luck. thank you for looking logust, i appreatite it, and heroine thank you for the advice.


how exactly would i have to get this cd-rom to work? what would be the best way? the easiest?

spent 2 hours looking found nothing so when it says not passed logo hit install anyway

and is it a c610 or 510 there is no 510-610.

Also there are no LG optical drives available for both of those series you sure you know where to find your model #?

also dell states like tha, like almost all optical drives, the drivers can be found on the windows cd.

rouge - didn't know that, i will check that. and i do press install anyway. still doesn't work. thanks for looking.

heroine - on the bottom of the computer, it says series 510-610. nothing else.
and for that driverguide site, would a CED-8120B substitute for the driver? it's similar.

most likely.

just make sure that if you have to use a subsititute driver its by the same company and a very similar model. It wont cause any damage to the drive so try it out
