okay the general verdict from all the tech outlets is "Meh"
looking at the technology its the same process node
each tier of product has increased power targets and it looks like the performance uplift is basically because they juiced the power
GDDR7 not really helping as much unless you get the 5090 since it has more vram
all the board partners are already pissed off because their margins are slim as shit this go around. they apparently cant make money at the MSRP for the 5090.
Haven’t been able to buy a card @ msrp for like 3 generations anyway so they can get bent imo
Also with DeepSeek destroying Nvidias valuation hopefully they get off their ass and innovate again instead of wasting r&d on this stupid ai trend
