It's a prebuilt and the version that I'm running is 23H2 I am downloading an update with the Ge force right now i can and download control panel while that's doing that

Well worst case scenario, I would recommend going to Microsoft’s website and downloading the latest version of the Windows 11 boot drive and reinstall from scratch. Your windows Key is linked to your motherboard, so you won’t have to worry about that.

Did all these problems start with the new mouse or did you run the pc for awhile with zero issues before that point?

Please take a screenshot of your performance tab when you have your usual programs open on task manager and send it. Also, is your hard-drive a solid state and how much RAM you have?

So that to me is a huge red flag.

Is it in your budget to increase your RAM?

If so, turn the pc off and find what RAM you have and buy the exact same thing if you have the space. So like if you have 4 slots, but only two are full, then buy what you already have and put it in the two open slots. If your board only has 2 slots and they are being used then you will have to buy a 32GB pack. Let me know what you see.

So it looks like 16GB is not enough for what you do and could be the culprit. That’s step 1 to fix the issue imo. Send me what your RAM is and what your Motherboard is and I will send you what I recommend if that’s the route you want to take.

Another options is to not have so many things running at the same time. Monitor your Ram and if it gets within 2GB of your cap, start closing stuff.

Highly recommend doubling your RAM though.
