so I tested this, and notice that both run very high to 100% at times and sometimes they one is high and the other lower.

Not sure if there is a way to see past graphs, because it will just keep going and I was not able to see at the exact time of the freezes. I did notice once that the GPU went down close to 0, when it froze once, but the CPU was not at 100. Not sure what this means...

Are you able to see your temperatures while this is happening?

Yes, I can see temp when I open task manager, dont recall but I think it was fine

For your GPU in task manager that is going up in usage gaming, can you verify it isn't the "integrated graphics"? Maybe your D4 is running on the wrong GPU? I had this happen on my old integrated setup.

I'd also make sure your settings are low.

in the task manager the one that says GPU has the name for the RX 6600XT and is the one moving, I'm assuming this means its using that one. Also, the graphics are nicer then when I tested the beta with just the integrated setup.

I was thinking onputting the new CPU soon to see if it changes anything, but wanted to make sure the GPU is good first

did you use ddu on your drivers?

are you using hwinfo
please dont use task manager thats just a rough estimate also
and you can have it log info

No, I did not use DDU , thought it was not necessary as both were AMD and just installed it from the website.

whats hwinfo? how do I get the log infor?

Yeah if the latest gpu driver doesn't work then try going back one version and see if that helps. Your CPU will definitely be like 100% output for d4 though.
