looking into upgrading my current monitor which is BenQ ZOWIE XL2411P 24 Inch

was looking at the G7 samsung monitor

i really want a 240hz monitor 1ms response time this one also had 1440p which ive never had before anyone have suggestions?

i do mainly fps gaming but do go into other types of games also

I have the 32inch g7 was on sale for 600. Returned my lg850 and asus vg32 after buying the g7. Make sure you do the firmware update or it’s going to flicker. Not sure if I’d pay 800 for it though but for 600 I’d buy it over any other monitors. I don’t play FPS though so not sure if you want the curve. Hardware unboxed on YouTube has like 20 monitor reviews for last year I’d check them out.

Because cs Nerds want 240hz refresh rates on their old shitty 500fps game.

Id rather play FPS at 165hz 1440p than 240hz 1080p any day.

Only time 1080p would be the choice is if you are an real competitor and go to lan tournaments, an actual ‘professional’ player. Because you’re gonna be playing on 1080p there. So why play on something different at home.
