I am planning to buy a Surface book pro 2 with 256GB memory 16GB 15inch screen

for 3200$ Cad $ litteraly no special deal.

but on bestbuy.ca I saw they have the same same I want but with double the memory ( 512 GB ) not that I would rly need the extra memory but they sell it for 2900$ Cad $ its a 900$ saveout

but its a open box 10/10 condition they say. from what I have read on google open box arent a rly good buy normaly espcially from Bestbuy

any though on if its a good buy or not?

thanks

edit : there is also the exact one I want but refurbished for 2500$ 700$ saveout

should I go for one of the 2 with saveout or just buy the brand new one never touch for full regular price to avoid any potential issues

tbh i bought a $300 soundbar/sub from best buy open box for $100 and it literally was just a torn box. brand frickin new.

also, even open box, they have return policy and refurb from best buy have that as well.

I have heard shit about some of best buy refurbs. Open box should be good to go and like said if they have return policy you can bring it back if there is problems. Just open it there when you are buying to ensure there is no physical damage.

Then make sure you verify the return policy if any.

Open box usually means... just that it was opened and returned. Aka, NOT a refurbished device. It should be safe, IF it has a return policy.

/e For $3200 CAD, you could get a real laptop though.

ok ty guys

last question is the open box a better deal or the refurnished?

because technily I do not need the extra memory in the open box but if open box > refurnished then I would go with this one

Open box is always better than refurbished.

/e IF it has a warranty/return policy. You will need to call Best BUY and ask....then get it in writing.

/ee Do you have an actual LINK to this laptop?
