Deciding on which 144 monitor to buy...there loads of options

BENQ is obvious choice but I can get HP,or ViewSonic and few other brands for £100 less, not sure if its worth paying that £100 extra for BENQ

reading through some comments on amazon, people say that cheaper versions need some adjustments in settings...i wouldn't have a clue tbh as i never had 144 monitor

any advice / tips on what to look for when buying 144 monitor please

most 144hz TN panels will look fine in games, but colors can be quite off when dealing with text, pictures, video, etc

if u want the best possible picture quality u wanna look for an IPS panel, they are abit more expensive tho, so if u just want a cheap 144hz any TN panel will be more then fine

Benq has the black equalizer and alot of color settings build in, different profiles u can customize, save and easily switch between - im sure other brands might have similar features, but benq is just better imo

well this would suck coz i watch youtube and browse internet quite a lot on my main monitor how bad is it? like can you get used to it bad or will it annoy you a lot?

currently got my eye on this one, very good reviews everywhere and people mention that colours are really good for NT panel

ips is definitely better but tn is not bad at all..

also depends on how u set it up, i like to crank up colors and brightness in games, which makes everything else look bad, so i switch profiles alot on my benq

but if ur main goal is internet and videos ips might be worth it.. depends...

dont really know that brand, but if it has good reviews its probably good then =)

well its both really, gaming and general browsing. I dont really game much but when i do i go full ham so i want my games too look sharp



its quite common in UK actually, i am usually quite sceptical of unknown brands but this is legit so all good

BenQ ZOWIE XL2430 for just £80 more (£300) but i dont really feel like blowing £300 on a monitor, seems like a bit over the top plus i want a new chair which cost £150

seems to be even cheaper.. and its pretty good aswell, i liked it

oh yeah, my friend had one of those long time ago, not sure how i missed this...cant go wrong with this one i suppose but i do like style of ViewSonic one better plus it will match my red/black set up

this must be very old model, very good price tho!

i think after reading plenty of positive reviews on ViewSonic ill just go with that one

yea that one is an older model, not as good as the newer benq's that has the s-switch and so on... but still very solid imo

but yea the viewsonic looks good aswell, enjoy it m8 =)
