Just ordered a RX 590. Haven't had a different card other than Nvidia since the ati days. Are amd drivers still doodoo? Did I rape myself? Thx

No, they fine. They actually do quality updates to their drivers, and since it's not BS proprietary stuff, it works better on linux as well if that matters

They had a huge, probably one of the biggest ever, pushes toward driver and open source driver development, nearly rewriting everything from the ground up. They're rapidly flying past nvidia proprietary on linux after being far behind for 2 decades. As well as windows fixes. It's really nice to see honestly.
