So today I woke up and I noticed that my mouse movements on windows were feeling like 60 hz. So I checked and sure enough, the 100, 120 & 144hz options were gone from this tab: https://prnt.sc/kko252

So I was wondering:

How do I get them back & why did they dissapear?

display port cable has to be used to achieve 144 hz. Otherwise try messing around in your monitors settings

Well this is the back of my monitor:

I think that's a displayport there to the right. What I'm saying is that I've had 144hz for the longest time but now suddenly when I turned on PC the 100,120 & 144hz options are gone from the tab.

Also it's not due to drivers not being up to date either:

So what can it be?

have you checked the settings of the actual physical monitor by pressing one of the buttons at the bottom of ur montor? you can change the settings there i believe

another thing that works sometimes is to unplug the dvi and plug it in again and do a restart. sounds dumb but maybe it will work for you.

Next time just buy a couple cans of Hertz. Then if you have the problem again, you can just refill your monitor. :D
