I work from home 3 days a week and spend hours upon hours at my desk. My old office chair is pretty bad, and I'm in the market for a nice ergonomic chair.

Anyone have any suggestions? I would love to be able to say that I can spend $1200 on a chair, but I can't justify $1200. Let's try to keep it around $300 or so.

5'11 and weigh 180ish. I fluctuate depending on the season, but I'd average it at 180.

Maybe I just need to budget for a few months and get a good overall ergo chair.

I'll be buying a house shortly, and I already have a budget for my home office for everything but a great chair. I will have a sit/stand desk

It is. It's tons more ergonomic than those ridiculous DX Racers. It's a healthier chair, better for you. Aka ergonomic.

Look at craigslist/offerup/letgo etc whatever in your area - most of the time you're able to find really good deals on $1k+ chairs.

I picked up a leap v2 for $200 - checked the mfg date on bottom of the chair and it was less than a year old.

I've heard good things about Hon.

I've also been eyeballing this one - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073Q4YN8H/?ref=idea_lv_dp_ov_d
I just can't seem to find any in-depth reviews of it.

I live in the Tri-state area too, so I'm hoping something comes up.

I've always gone with HON or Steelcase. Most large buyers of office furniture, do too.
