Hey guys,

i just bought an:

AOC g2770pqu 27" 144hz Screen.

My GPU is:

Nvidia Asus Gtx 1060 6GB dual

So my question is; which cable should i use to be able to get 144Hz out of my screen?

Thanks in advance.

I must note that having the correct input, the correct cable and the correct output is not always enough; for example the (now old) BenQ XL2411T does not support 120Hz HDMI input even when the specs say it has the proper HDMI input. It simply does not have a multiplexer for HDMI that supports 1080p120.

Lesson of the day:
Always double check the features before banking on it, especially when speaking of few year old gear. 144Hz HDMI is so badly supported for some reason.

okay one more stupid question

I have a DVI-I and it can find my screen as it should be able to be 144hz, but once i change the settings to 144hz it just goes black.

Is it because DVI-I doenst support 144hz and i need a DVI-D/DP cable or can anyone tell me why the DVI-I cant give me 144hz
