How so =/
He won't have an explanation, but he's wrong. And his list is mediocre.
The PSU he picked is better, but his first link has issues as well. Let's list them:
1. There's no proof that getting a Samsung SSD will give you any more longevity or performance over that Mushkin.
2. The X370 he picked has the same VRMs/phasing/mediocre heatsinks as the Asus B350 offerings, making it pointless.
3. His RAM is too slow which
will affect gameplay on Ryzen.
4. A Black series SSD gives nothing noticeable over a 7200RPM Blue that costs $40.
The 1060 is arguably better since it has more VRAM, but... eh.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WhhckdBuy that, if you wanna cut back you can but that would be what i'd get while staying close to budget.
as for ghots remark theres nothing to be worried about tbh unless that data on the 1tb is important in which case you want redundancy.
This one is better, but it definitely needs a better motherboard for overclocking. The MSI Z370-A is a garbage 4 phase, and overclock.net's VRM tier list recommends not overclocking on it. Not overclocking defeats the point of an 8600K. Get a better mobo and probably a better power supply and this list is good.
