I’m needing a laptop as it fits my needs more than a desktop does at this point in my life. I’m looking for something that will play some low requirement games for when I do have time to play (wow, d3, that kinda stuff). I want at least 17 inch. Storage isn’t a huge issue, but the more the better obviously. My absolute max budget is $1000 usd. I’ve seen a few asus rog open boxes for that price, but I’m not very familiar with them.

open box is good of course but if you want the 17" you can sacrafice about %15 performance (gtx 1050m instead) and get this. also it's ssd storage is a little smaller I mean idk if that matters

That looks pretty decent, and a great price! Like I said, I’m not a hardcore gamer. Random steam games, wow, league, d2/3. This should play all of that on high with zero issues right?

If it were me I'd mow some lawns or something. That laptop I linked has pretty decent specs.

well, just noticed the drive is 5400 rpm. which idk how much of a difference that would be.

but a 1050m is good enough to be playing those games, just gotta find the right settings. like diablo is pretty easy to run you'd be on high for sure. as well as league, wow, etc. the problem with WoW is usually when theirs too many people near you so it lag's hard (orgrimmar high pop server) which i figure is more cpu based and optimization but it happens for everyone. but I mean maybe on games like battlefield 1 you'd for sure have to lower the settings but no matter what you can get a comfortable 60fps in those AAA titles too with the right settings.
