with 2000$ i would pretend a 120hz display and just ditch the high res, looks like an unbalanced laptop to me, and yes hp has low tier build quality

Hmmm, battery life actually isn't bad, and hinge issues were with 2016 model (2017 was refreshed).

If stock isn't out, I'll consider. Heading out for dinner. Thoughts welcome.

Decided I'll watch the price of this laptop until it comes down closer to $2,100 or lower. Better construction, 144Hz, thinner bezels, better internal cooling... but pricey.

Found one for $1900. Sells for $2,500 everywhere else (Canadian). Might be out of stock tho idk. Will have to see. Might hold off anyways. Idk.
